Discover Mexico, One Step at a Time

Mountain villages, deep canyons and high volcanoes — walking routes that connect landscapes with the communities who live in them.

From gentle village walks to guided high-altitude ascents, designed and operated for travel agencies and tour operators.

Why Mexico

A country best understood on foot.

Mexico's mountains run from pine-covered sierras to glaciated volcanoes above 5,000 m. Many trails were village paths long before they were hiking routes, so walking here means meeting the people who still use them.

We match each route to your clients' fitness and expectations, working with local and community guides, and we separate leisurely walks from demanding expeditions that need specialist mountain guides, acclimatization and the right equipment.

Practical information

What to know before you sell a trek.

Altitude
Sierra Norte trails sit roughly between 2,000 and 3,200 m; Nevado de Toluca's crater is above 4,000 m; Iztaccíhuatl and Pico de Orizaba exceed 5,000 m. We build acclimatization into every high route.
Difficulty levels
Easy: 2–4 hour walks on clear paths. Moderate: 5–7 hours with sustained climbs. Demanding: multi-day or high-altitude. Technical: glacier travel with ropes and crampons.
Fitness
We ask for a short traveler profile (age, experience, health notes) so we can recommend the right route and pace.
Climate
Mornings are cold in the mountains, afternoons can bring storms in the rainy season (roughly June–September). High peaks can see snow at any time.
Equipment
Broken-in boots, layers and rain gear for most routes. Technical gear for summits is arranged through specialist guides.
Accessibility
Several routes offer vehicle support, shorter sections or viewpoint alternatives for travelers who prefer a lighter day.

Questions from travel agencies

Can you operate these experiences under our brand?

Yes. We work white-label: your clients see your brand, while our local team handles suppliers, guides, logistics and on-the-ground support.

How do you handle different fitness levels in one group?

We plan split options — a longer and a shorter route, or vehicle support — and adjust guide ratios so nobody holds the group back.

Are summit climbs guaranteed?

No. Summits depend on weather, conditions and each climber's acclimatization. Our guides can turn a group around at any time for safety.

When is the best season?

The dry months, roughly October to April, suit most routes. We confirm conditions for each date and route when we build the proposal.

Can walking days be combined with comfortable hotels?

Yes. Many programs alternate community cabins or lodges with boutique hotels in Oaxaca, Puebla or the canyon towns.
